The Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant provides financial assistance to help meet
workforce demands by supporting adults who pursue a certificate, degree, or industry-recognized
credential in fields identified as high‑need.
About the program
Fast Track places Missouri at the forefront of states dedicated to helping adults succeed. The program expands access to the training adults need to thrive in today’s workforce.
By doing so, Fast Track plays a key role in moving Missouri toward its Big Goal—having 60 percent of working‑age adults earn a high‑quality certificate or degree by 2030.
Eligibility requirements include
- You must be 25 years or older, or someone who has not been enrolled in any school or educational program during the last two years
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- You must not have earned a bachelor's degree
- You must enroll part or full-time
- You must earn no more than $80,000 per year if filing jointly or no more than $40,000 per year with any other filing status
- This grant may be renewed by continuing to meet all of the initial requirements and by making satisfactory progress, which includes maintaining at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average

Steps to apply
- Find an approved program (listed below).
- Apply to MCC
- File for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the year you plan to enroll in college
- Create a state student financial aid portal login.
- Complete the Fast Track application available through the state financial aid portal
