Award: Tuition and general fees after all available, non-loan federal financial aid has been applied to your account, subject to appropriations.
Merit-based program
- Be certified as eligible by your high school (have an official A+ transcript sent to MCC)
- Submit a FAFSA
- Be enrolled full time and complete 12 or more credit hours each semester
- Be seeking a degree or certificate (not in theology or divinity)
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or lawfully present in the U.S.
- Renewal students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA

Award: $300 or more per year depending on SAI, subject to appropriations
Need-based program
- Submit a FAFSA by February 1
- Make any FAFSA corrections no later than July 31
- Your Student Aid Index (SAI) must be no higher than 12,000
- Be enrolled full time
- Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
- Be a Missouri resident
- Not have received your first bachelor's degree or completed equivalent hours
- Renewal students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and maintain satisfactory academic progress

Award: One-time grant of $500, subject to appropriations
Eligibility
- Receive an Access Missouri Grant or A+ Program award in the academic year in which the Advanced Placement Incentive Grant is awarded or be eligible but have a calculated award amount of zero.
- Achieve two grades of three or higher on advanced placement exams in the fields of math and/or science while attending a Missouri public high school.
- Submit a complete Advanced Placement Incentive Grant application by June 1 of the current academic year (June 1, 2022 for 2022-2023 academic year).

Award: Up to $3,000 per year, subject to appropriations
Merit-based program
- Have a composite score on the ACT or the SAT in either the top 3% of all Missouri students or the top fourth or fifth percentiles of all Missouri students.
- Achieve a qualifying test score by the June test date
- Be enrolled full time as a first-time student
- Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
- Be a Missouri resident
- Renewal students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, maintain satisfactory academic progress and receive the scholarship at least one semester each academic year.
Eligibility is subject to the rules as defined at DHEWD Bright Flight Program.

Award: Tuition, program fees and MCC's general fee, after all available, non-loan federal and state aid has been applied to your account or up to $500 for other education-related expenses if other aid covers all tuition and fees.
Need-based program
- Submit a FAFSA for the year you plan to enroll in college

- Complete the Fast Track application available through the state financial aid portal
- You must be 25 years or older, or someone who has not been enrolled in any school or educational program during the last two years
- You must not have earned a bachelor's degree
- You must enroll part or full-time
- You must earn no more than $80,000 per year if filing jointly or no more than $40,000 per year with any other filing status
- This grant may be renewed by continuing to meet all of the initial requirements and by making satisfactory progress, which includes maintaining at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average

Award: Tuition and general fees up to $2,500, subject to appropriations
Need-based program
- Be 17-22 years of age
- Be a child of an employee who was seriously injured or died in a work related accident or from an occupational disease covered and compensated by workers' compensation
- Submit a FAFSA and a Kids' Chance Scholarship application by April 30
- Your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) must be no higher than $12,000
- Be enrolled at least half-time
- Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or lawfully present in the U.S.
- Be a Missouri resident
- Renewal students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and maintain satisfactory academic progress

Award: Award amounts are determined annually. Priority is given to renewal students and members of severely underrepresented minority ethnic groups.
Merit-based program
- Be a graduate of an accredited high school
- Have either a minimum 3.0 high school GPA or 2.5 college GPA
- Submit a complete Minority and Underrepresented Environmental Literacy Program application each year by June 1
- Be enrolled full time in a qualifying academic program
- Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or lawfully present in the U.S.
- Be a Missouri resident
- Renewal students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and be selected by the Minority Environmental Literacy Advisory Committee

Award: Tuition for 12 credit hours, subject to appropriations
Eligibility
- Be less than 24 years of age (dependent children only)
- Be either:
- A public safety officer permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty,
- A spouse of a public safety officer killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty, or
- A child (natural, adopted or stepchild) of a public safety officer or a Missouri Department of Transportation employee engaged in the construction or maintenance of the state's highways, roads and bridges, who was killed or permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty
- Submit a complete Public Safety Officer or Employee's Child Survivor Grant Program application each year
- Be enrolled full time
- Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
- Be a Missouri resident
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Not have received a bachelor's degree

Award: Tuition for at least half-time credit hours, subject to appropriations. The state is limited to 25 grants per year. Renewal students and those with the earliest application dates have priority when awarding.
Eligibility
- Children (natural, adopted or stepchild) and spouses of wartime veterans at the time of death or injury or within five years subsequent to injury. These grants are awarded to children and spouses of veterans who died or became at least 80 percent disabled as results of injuries sustained in combat action since September 11, 2001. The veteran must have been a Missouri resident when first entering the military service and at the time of death
- Submit a completed Wartime Veteran's Survivors Grant Program application each year
- Be enrolled at least half-time
- Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- The veteran's child may continue eligibility through the end of the semester in which he/she turns 25 OR the receipt of his/her first bachelor's degree, whichever occurs first
