Join us as we welcome keynote speaker, Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. In addition to his roles at Harvard University (as the Alphonse Fletcher Professor and Director of the Hutchins Center for African & African American Research), Gates is an Emmy and Peabody-Award winning filmmaker, journalist, author, and host of the series “Finding Your Roots,” on PBS.

Gates recently received the coveted Spingarn Medal from the NAACP, which recognizes outstanding achievement by an African American.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will support future scholarships for MCC students.
