Longview Campus Visit
Classic Campus Visit: Experience campus life at MCC-Longview. First, you will visit with an admissions representative to learn about financial aid, MCC Academic and Career programs, and discuss the next steps to becoming an MCC student. Then you will tour our main campus facilities and learn about important resources available to MCC students. (Visit time 2 hours)

Experience campus life at MCC-Longview. First, you will visit with an admissions representative to learn about financial aid, MCC Academic and Career programs, and discuss the next steps to becoming an MCC student. Then you will tour our main campus facilities and learn about important resources available to MCC students. During your visit, you will meet faculty from the Automotive Technology department and tour the program facility. This is a great way to get in-depth information about the area while becoming familiar with campus. (Visit time 2.5-3 Hours)

Experience campus life at MCC-Longview. First, you will visit with an admissions representative to learn about financial aid, MCC Academic and Career programs, and discuss the next steps to becoming an MCC student. During your visit, you will learn about Theater Arts disciplines including film acting, television acting, stage acting, voice acting, production, communications, and more. You will visit the Cultural Arts Center (CAC), which is the home of our Black Box Theater. (Visit time 2.5-3 Hours)

Discover MCC Veterinary Technology through a career-specific campus experience. During your visit, you will meet with Admissions, tour the program facility, and meet the faculty of the Veterinary Technology department. This is a great way to get in-depth information about the area while becoming familiar with the campus. Please meet at the Veterinary Technology building located south of the main campus. On Campus- Campus Visit (Advanced Technical Skills Institute)
The Advanced Technical Skills Institute visit allows you to explore the variety of Applied Technology and Manufacturing careers. This facility located at 2944 Troost is home to Metropolitan Community College's building maintenance and construction, computer-integrated machining, HVAC, industrial technology and welding programs. Whether it is the technicians who keep our homes cool, the mechanics who keep our cars on the road, or the technicians that keep our factories and critical infrastructure running; we depend on professional technicians who have mastered the skills of their trade. At Metropolitan Community College, students in the Applied Technology & Manufacturing Pathway receive practical, hands-on training from instructors with real-world experience in state-of-the-art labs. You'll develop the skills you need for high-demand, high-paying careers in our region. This small group session is designed for prospective students who have not yet applied to the college. On Campus- Campus Visit (Health Science Institute)
The Health Science Institute visit allows you to explore a variety of healthcare careers. In addition to the virtual hospital, six other hands-on learning areas throughout the Health Science Institute create a simulated clinical environment where students use real clinical equipment and tools to practice patient care scenarios. Come take a walking tour of the state-of-the-art facility at 3444 Broadway. (Tour approx. 1 hour). Programs include: • Dental - The HSI's awesome dental suite looks and functions just like a dental office and includes the latest in equipment. • Health Information Management - Students get a clear learning advantage in the HSI's health information technology suite. Whether they are studying health information technology, coding, or medical transcription, they have access to software and technology that simulate today's work settings. • Nursing - Hands-on practice is vital for learning all levels of nursing. • Occupational Therapy Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant - Occupational and physical therapist assistant students need lots of room to practice techniques for reducing pain and dysfunction. • Radiology Technology - Cutting-edge equipment in the HSI's radiology suite helps students keep pace with fast-changing technology. • Surgical Technology - Outside of a hospital, this operating room is about as real as it gets. The HSI's surgical technology suite gives students the ultimate practice environment with a fully equipped operating room where students can learn. • Virtual Hospital - MCC's virtual hospital is a 10,000 sq. ft., accredited, healthcare simulation center that provides an unmatched learning environment for healthcare providers and students. The virtual hospital is a realistic healthcare facility that hosts a variety of events and collaborates with businesses and organizations. Directions: The entrance is on the 34th Terrace side. Turn west off Broadway onto 34th Terrace or 35th Street. Park in visitor parking located at the end of each block and at the back of the building; you can also park along Broadway or 35th Street.
