Wolf Pack Orientation is critical for new students to get a strong start at Metropolitan Community College. In fact, we find that students who attend earn a higher GPA than those who don’t. Take advantage of your opportunity to make it your best beginning!
New Student Orientation includes two steps:
- Step one: complete the self-paced online wolf pack orientation.
- Step two: Sign up for the Wolf Pack Welcome.
Who should participate?
- All First-Time College Students
- Transfer Students with less than 12 credit hours
How do I sign up for the online Orientation and Wolf Pack Welcome event?
Online Wolf Pack Orientation
Students will receive an email with a link to the online Wolf Pack Orientation learning modules from college2success.com/mcckc after completing the New Student Advising and Enrollment Session.
It is highly encouraged that students complete all modules before the start of classes. The estimated time to complete the online Orientation is about 60 minutes.
Wolf Pack Welcome Event
If you are attending an in-person event, choose the campus where you plan to take most of your in-person courses. The programs are dedicated to connecting students with campus resources.
MCC will also offer COVID-19 vaccination clinics during some of these welcome events. Learn more and view the clinic schedules.
If you are attending multiple campuses or online – you can attend the virtual program led by the district. You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link.

How is NSO different than the New Student Advising and Enrollment Session I already attended?
The New Student Advising and Enrollment Session focused on personalized academic advising, financial aid navigation, technology, and course registration. New Student Orientation goes a step further and helps students understand the educational opportunities, expectations, and support services available at the college. Obtaining this knowledge before starting classes is key to your academic success.
