April is Community College Month
The acrylic structure by MCC instructor Bernadette Torres features digital images of "dream clouds" and flowers from Torres' ceramic artworks.
The proposed $6 million, 12,000-square-foot Agriculture Annex would house programs for students pursuing an MCC associate in applied science (A.A.S.) in agriculture degree.
Students Victor Harris and Robert Blann accompanied members of the MCC Board of Trustees on a visit to lawmakers in Washington, D.C.
Both events will be available on Zoom. The poetry workshop will also be held in-person at MCC-Penn Valley.
For the first time, Metropolitan Community College will hold two commencement ceremonies instead of one. This year, on Thursday, May 18, grads and their families can choose to attend either a 1 p.m. or 6 p.m. ceremony.
