Enhanced IT Security Measures

As part of our enhanced IT security measures, MCC restricts access to our systems from outside of the country.

International Students should contact the International Student Services Office at 816.604.4693.

Non-international students planning to travel outside the country, should call the Information Center at 816.604.1000 to request access prior to traveling.

This will allow IT to provide you with the necessary access to our systems while you are outside the country.

Starfish is an educational progress platform that allows you check on your degree progress status, possible degree routes and as serves as a communication tool between you and you success net-work IE: teachers, Student Success Advisors and more.

1. Log into your myMCCKC
2. Click on the Starfish button on the left
3. Log in to Starfish with your student email address SXXXXXXX@student.mcckc.edu and your myMCCKC password
How do I contact my Student Success Advisor/instructor?
1. Log into your myMCCKC
2. Click on Starfish
3. Log in to Starfish with your student email address SXXXXXXX@student.mcckc.edu and your myMCCKC password
4. Click on My Success Network
5. Find your Student Success Advisor
6. Click on the email address to send them an email with your questions
How do I schedule an appointment with my Student Success Advisor?
1. Log into your myMCCKC
2. Click on Starfish
3. Log in to Starfish with your student email SXXXXXXX@student.mcckc.edu and your myMCCKC password
4. Click on My Success Network
5. Find your Student Success Advisor
6. Click on the link that says Schedule Appointment
7. Find a day and time with the Sign Up link active in it and click it
8. Choose your Reason and explain what you are wanting to talk about in the Details section of this window
9. Click Submit when done
