How do students and employees connect to MCC-Wireless?
How can I access MCC-Wireless as a community member?
Any community member may request access to MCC-Wireless. To make this request, go to the Public Access form and follow directions. This access will remain in place for one year.
How can organizations on campus access wireless services?
Guests to any MCC campus should be given temporary access to the MCC-Guest wireless system when campus meeting arrangements are made. For help with guest accounts, MCC event sponsors should contact the IT help desk.
Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft is now offering Office 365 free for students. This free version comes with 1TB of cloud storage. All you need for this is any valid school email address such as your MCC student email, for example S9999999@student.mcckc.edu. Any issues with this free service will be supported by Microsoft. MCC has no access to Microsoft's systems to support you with any issues that arise.
MCC is now requiring additional authentication when using Microsoft Office 365. When you create an account or sign in after the new security is in place, you will be prompted to use the MFA or Multi-Factor Authentication app in order to sign in from that point forward.
MCC transition to single sign-on (SSO) service
To transition to a single sign-on (SSO) service, MCC will disable its current student Office 365 instance at the end of the spring semester (tentatively May 17th–28th). It will be replaced with a new account. Download all Microsoft 365 content/files and save it in an alternate location such as a computer or Google Drive. MCC will not have access to any prior content. Reminders and more details will be sent throughout the semester.
