myMCCKC - FAQs

The myMCCKC system provides a self-service center for students and employees, and acts as a portal to other MCC systems. By logging into this account, students have access to their personal academic and financial account information, and also to several other MCC systems such BlackBoard, account payment, and student email.

Access to myMCCKC

How can I access myMCCKC?

From the MCC home page at click on the myMCCKC option located on the black bar or in the 3 white bars in the left on mobile devices or you can go directly to my.mcckc.edu.   You will be prompted to enter your student UserID and password.  New students should use the "Need Password" link to create a password initially.

What is my UserID for myMCCKC?

If you are a student, your UserID is a capital S followed by your 7 digit number (Example: S9999999). If you are an employee, your UserID is a capital E followed by your 7 digit number (Example: E9999999).

To find your UserID for your account:

  1. From the myMCCKC log in page, select the "Need UserID" option located under the red login button
  2. Select "I need my UserID" and then complete the form.  Your UserID will be displayed

What if I forget my password?

  1. From the myMCCKC log in page, select the "Need Password" option located under the red LOGIN button
  2. Complete the form and hit "continue"
  3. Answer your security question exactly the way you did initially
  4. You will be prompted to create a new password
  5. If you continue to have difficulty logging in please call 816.604.1000 option 3 for assistance

How can I change my address in the myMCCKC account?

  1. Log into your myMCCKC
  2. Go to Student Center Home
  3. Under Personal Information click Home Address
  4. Click the Edit button on the right of your Home Address
  5. Enter your address then click Search
  6. Verify they address and click OK
  7. Then under the sentence in red use the drop-down box to choose the school district you pay taxes into
  8. Then click save

How can I change my name in the myMCCKC account?

  1. Log into your myMCCKC
  2. Go to Student Center Home
  3. Under Personal Information click the Names link on the left
  4. Choose the Edit button to edit current names or click Add a New Name if adding a new name.
  5. Then click Save

Can I change my name or address without logging in to myMCCKC?

Yes, you can stop by any campus records office and fill out a student data change form. You can also download the Statistical Data Change form (PDF) and fax it to the student data center at 816.759.1149.

How do I request an official transcript through myMCCKC account?

  1. Log into your myMCCKC
  2. Go to Student Center Home
  3. Under Academics click the link that says Transcripts
  4. Click on the tab that says Transcript: Official
  5. Click Credit-Official Batch in the check boxes
  6. Make sure Immediate Processing is selected in the next drop-down box
  7. Choose your quantity
  8. Next choose to send to your address we have on file or a school of your choosing
    1. If you choose to send to a school only use the first 4 letters of the full name
    2. Do not enter anything for the city
    3. Then enter the abbreviation for the state
    4. Click search
    5. Then click on the blue numbers next to the name of your school
  9. Then click submit

How do I view my unofficial transcript through myMCCKC account?

  1. Make sure your pop-up blockers are off
  2. Log into your myMCCKC
  3. Go to Student Center Home
  4. Under Academics click the link that says Transcripts
  5. Click on the tab that says Transcript: Unofficial
  6. In the second drop down box choose Credit Advising
  7. Click the View Report

How do I get to a receipt in myMCCKC account?

  1. Login to you myMCCKC account
  2. Click on the Student Center Home button
  3. In the Finances section click on the link that says View Student Account Report
  4. Choose the semester you are looking for from the drop down menu
  5. Click View Printable Report

How do I find the To Do List in myMCCKC account?

  1. Log in to your myMCCKC account
  2. Click on the Student Center Home button on the left
  3. Once on the Student Center Home page look on the right, for your To Do List box
  4. In the To Do List box you will find anything required to be completed in order for you to receive your Financial Aid
  5. If you have questions as to how you will need to complete these items, click on the Details link at the bottom of the To Do List box.
  6. Then on the new page click on the individual items for instructions.

Can I find my 1098T in myMCCKC account?

  1. Sign into your myMCCKC account
  2. Click on the Student Center Home button
  3. In the Finances sections find the Other Financials drop-down box
  4. Choose 1098T and click the double arrows to the right
  5. Lastly Choose the semester you are looking for

My myMCCKC password works for myMCCKC account but not for Blackboard/Student Email/Starfish/etc?

  1. Login to myMCCKC.
  2. On the lower left corner, click Manage Passwords.
  3. A new browser tab/window will open. Click Change password.
  4. Enter your current password.
  5. Follow the guidelines on the page by entering and confirming a new password. The new password must not contain your name (specifically, it should not contain three or more consecutive characters of either your first or last name.)
  6. Click OK.
  7. Close that tab/window.
  8. Wait up to 10 minutes for the new password to sync to other systems.

How can I keep my student account access secure?

Never share your password with anyone and make sure that you log out of your portal completely when leaving your computer.
