Metropolitan Community College (MCC) is a great place to get an education and Kansas City is an exciting place to live and study. Today, approximately 100 international students from more than 40 countries take classes at MCC.
MCC provides excellent facilities, exceptional instructors and a tremendous variety of career programs, all at a low cost. Kansas City is located in the center of the United States, is friendly and offers cultural, educational and entertainment opportunities. MCC is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant students.
Achieve your goals
We have many types of programs to meet your career goals. If a four-year degree is in your plans, our transfer programs make it easy to get there. Take your first two years of college with us, where classes are small and costs are low, and then transfer to a four-year college or university.
Help with English
All international students are tested in English when they arrive on campus. Students who need additional English assistance will be enrolled in our English as a Second Language classes at the MCC-Penn Valley campus. We offer English as a Second Language courses in reading, writing, vocabulary and speaking. TOEFL is not required for admission.

Our classes are small to allow for more personal attention between you and the teacher. Our instructors are experts in their fields and share their knowledge enthusiastically while providing a friendly, relaxed learning environment.

There is a payment plan for international students.
MCC requires all F-1 students carry health insurance in accordance with USCIS regulations and/or MCC policies. Health insurance is paid at the time of enrollment.
