PHYS 106 - General Astronomy (4 credits)

Prerequisites: MATH 31 or higher with a grade of S (Satisfactory) or appropriate math placement. This course is a survey of astronomy with emphasis on the scientific method, observation, tools of observation, and the models, physical principles, and processes that help describe and predict astronomical phenomena. (MOTR ASTR 100)
