ENGR 180 - Engineering Design with Calculus I (1 credit)
Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in MATH 180 or completion of MATH 180 with a C or higher. This course supplements a traditional first calculus course. It includes a study of limits, the derivative for functions of a single variable, differentials, definite integrals, and applications of the derivative and the integral. The course introduces students to software tools (computer aided design drafting, spreadsheets, computation software) with application to professional engineering practice.
