Veterinary Technology

VETT 110 - Veterinary Technician II (4 credits)

Prerequisite: VETT 101 & Admission to the Veterinary Technology program. This course covers veterinary practice animal physiology, pathology, and pharmacology. Course content includes the renal system, reproductive system, endocrine system, amphibian and reptile care, and pet bird care. Hands-on skills in blood and specimen collection, anesthesia, surgical preparation, intravenous catheterization, surgical monitoring, and radiographic processing.
