Chemistry

CHEM 222 - Organic Chemistry II (5 credits)

Prerequisite: CHEM 221 with a grade of "C" or higher. This course includes the nomenclature, reactions, stereochemistry, physical properties, and spectroscopy of aromatic compounds, alcohols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, amines, carboxylic acids, and their derivatives. Additionally, the course explores the mechanisms and kinetics of organic reactions, and an introduction to biochemical compounds.
