Study abroad opportunities in 2026:


Salamanca, Spain January 7-16, 2026

 

In partnership with the Berceo Spanish Academy, MCC offers a comprehensive Spanish language program in Salamanca, Spain including small group immersion Spanish classes, family homestay and extracurricular activities.

Intensive Spanish language classes

MCC students will spend each morning in the classroom taking Spanish classes taught by local Spanish instructors.

Cultural activities and excursions

To enhance the cultural experience in Spain, there will be additional afternoon activities such as cooking or dance classes.  The trip also includes a day trip to another nearby city (Segovia o Ávila).

Homestay information

Students will live with a host family who will provide three meals daily. The homestay is a key part of the immersion experience as it allows students to practice language in everyday interactions.

Program cost: $1,800

NOTE: This price is based on current airfare prices and is subject to change. There is an additional tuition cost for the 3 credits. Students earn the credits by successfully completing the trip, in-country classes, and activities in addition to pre- and post-travel assignments.

  • Deposit of $1,000 due October 3, 2025
  • Remaining payment due November 7, 2025
  • Payment plans and some partial scholarships are available
  • Scholarship applications due October 3, 2025
  • The tuition fees for three credits will be billed separately
