English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are taught at the MCC-Penn Valley campus.
Day and evening classes are available. All instructors have a master's degree. Students
have access to a computerized language laboratory, college library and the fitness
center.

All incoming students must take the ESL placement test.
The first test is free of charge.
Testing may take 2-3 hours.
Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID or passport.

Virtual learning means: The course will be taught live with students attending via
video conferencing (such as Zoom). Classes meet live during the days and times listed
in the course schedule. Students will need reliable internet and computer access.
