The job prospects for EMTs and paramedics are very good, with most students finding employment soon after completing our programs. The MCC Research department maintains a publication detailing the career outlook for EMT program graduates.

Base salary and job outlook

  • Salaries vary. On average, a newly licensed EMT can expect to earn $22,000 to $25,000 a year. A starting paramedic makes anywhere from $27,000 to $32,000 annually
