Registration is required to receive a t-shirt. In the registration form, you should select your t-shirt size.

You will receive an email from your campus representative (see below) with instructions for how to pick up your shirt.

The Sensory room is available to anyone when presentations are taking place in the Grand Plaza. There will be a monitor and audio of the presentations located in the Sensory room, so no one misses the important conversations taking place at In-Service. 

The Sensory room is located at the KC Chamber room on the main floor of Union Station. Please refer to the Union Station map. 

Note: The Sensory room will not be available during concurrent sessions. The KC Chamber room will be used for concurrent sessions. 

The private mother's lactation room is available next to the bathrooms in the Grand Plaza. There is a sign to mark the room.

Note: refrigeration is not available. Please bring a cooler to store milk.

For those needing an alternative to stairs, elevators are available to access different levels of Union Station. Both the north and south entrances of Union Station are ramped, providing accessible entry points. Mobility access escorts will be available to assist individuals in reaching the correct location via an MCC-provided wheelchair if needed.

No. No MCC classes will be held on In-Service day, and offices will be closed.

Union Station is located at 30 West Pershing, Kansas City, MO 64108.

You should be able to type “Union Station Kansas City” or “30 West Pershing, Kansas City, MO” into your preferred phone navigation app and find your way.

Please enjoy complimentary parking in the garage on the west side of Union Station, also accessible via Broadway. A ticket may be required to enter the garage however, you will not need to pay when leaving the garage.

There are 1500 spaces with 28 of those spaces available for handicapped parking. Please refrain from parking in front of Union Station as those spaces are used for visiting the US Postal Office. If you park more than 30 minutes in this area you will be ticketed.

MCC will provide everyone who is registered with a MCC In-Service t-shirt. To see who is your campus representative, refer to the question above under "How will I get my In-Service t-shirt?" Business casual clothing is appropriate. 

In-Service is held at a large venue, please expect a lot of walking, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. And, the building may be cold, bring extra clothes, if needed.
