We encourage you to complete your Student Center “TO DO” list by the priority dates. This is when our financial aid offices' high volume period starts.
MCC Grant funds will be applied before Federal Grants (i.e., Pell and SEOG) and after all other non-loan funding sources (i.e., A+, MCC foundation scholarships, external scholarships) and are non-refundable. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, fees and educationally related books and supplies.
MCC Grant is awarded by each campus based on the initiatives identified by the campus president and financial aid office. Selection and renewal criteria may vary.
Depending on other types of aid the student is receiving, the MCC Grant may be minimal or not applicable.
Must be enrolled full time, be engaged in intercollegiate athletics and comply with National Junior College Athletic Associate requirements. The coach recommends recipients. Recipients must maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
