Veterans Day is a United States federal holiday that honors all military veterans who have served in the U.S. military and is observed annually on November 11. Please join us for the MCC 2022 Veteran’s Day Recognition Breakfast. In addition to recognizing and thanking our community of veterans, we will also honor veteran students with a scholarship award.
Keynote Speaker, Mike Macias
The keynote speaker will be Mike Macias (retired, U.S. Navy), executive director of the LULAC National Educational Service Center in Kansas City. LULAC describes itself as the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the U.S. Also at the breakfast, two new recipients of MCC’s Reggie Helms Memorial Scholarship, named for Dr. Beatty’s father, will be announced.
