Veterans Day is an annual, United States federal holiday honoring all veterans who have served in the U.S. military. This year, Veterans Day is Nov. 11. Join Metropolitan Community College for breakfast as we come together to celebrate all members of the U.S. military who have given so much to protect our way of life and ensure our freedom.

The guest speaker for this event is Theresa Garza, a Navy veteran who served five years during Desert Storm. Garza is the Regional Manager of Government Affairs at Spire and is active in local civic engagement. She currently serves as a Raytown Alderman and sits on several association boards. She previously served on the Jackson County Missouri Legislature.

The Reggie Helms Memorial Scholarship will also be awarded during the ceremony.
