Commencement for the Class of 2026 graduates
Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Cable Dahmer Arena
As an MCC graduate, on behalf of the Chancellor, faculty, staff and the MCC community,
we invite to participate in our annual commencement ceremony.
Commencement registration
RSVP and register below: register right away to ensure you receive all of the commencement information you need from MCC leading up to the big day, including reminder texts, event updates and more.
Graduates have the opportunity to choose between two ceremony times -- 1 p.m. or 6 p.m.
Select the Grad Bag event in the registration form. Choose the date, time and campus where you prefer to pick up your cap, gown, tassel and other graduation items. The commencement ceremony, cap, gown and tassel will be provided free of charge.
All family and friends are welcome to attend; tickets are not required.
If for any reason, you do not receive a text message, you may register using the link below. Be sure to confirm with your Student Success Advisor that you are, in fact, eligible to graduate.

Looking back at 2025
Metropolitan Community College’s Class of 2025 received fond sendoffs at commencement, with two ceremonies at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence. The 6 p.m. program drew around 600 graduates and 4,500 guests, while the earlier 1 p.m. ceremony hosted 300 grads and about 2,500 family members and friends.
In all, 2,141 MCC students were candidates for graduation, earning 2,567 credentials: associate degrees and certificates.
