VETT 111 - Infectious Disease Management (2 credits)
Prerequisite: Admission into the Veterinary Technology Program. This course will provide medical knowledge of microorganisms, parasites, sanitation, disinfectants, sterilization, zoonotic diseases, and public health problems associated with the veterinary industry. Students will learn standard operating procedures for parasite and vermin control, cleaning and sterilization, and sanitary patient care.
