LEGL 126 - Criminal Law and Procedure (3 credits)
Prerequisites: ENGL 101 or higher, CSIS 115, COMM 100 or COMM 102, LEGL 100, and admission into the Legal and Paralegal Studies Program. The student will be introduced to criminal law and procedure. Students will examine classification and analysis of crimes and criminal acts; fundamentals of constitutional and criminal law concepts; elements and venue jurisdiction; and concepts in the laws of arrest, search and seizure and the preservation and protection of life and property.
