Legal and Paralegal Studies

LEGL 225 - Legal Research and Writing II (3 credits)

Prerequisites: LEGL 100, LEGL 104, LEGL 125, and admission into the Legal and Paralegal Studies Program. This course builds on the legal research and writing skills learned in Legal Research and Writing I. Students will continue to develop legal research skills and focus on legal research strategies. Students will draft legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and/or pleadings. Students will present their research and analytical skills in the form of properly written legal documents, including both objective and persuasive writing.
