This course will be an investigation of music of a variety of cultures, focusing on musical style, aesthetic viewpoints of differing cultures and the function in which music fulfills these diverse societies. Within this course, students will study the connection between music and religion, drama, gender, ethnicity and dance. (MOTR MUSC 102)
