Students who wish to transfer from another college-based radiologic technology program must provide course information to the coordinator to review for alignment with MCC curriculum. Refer the Penn Valley Radiologic Technology Program Handbook for more information.

  2. Complete the online application for MCC-Penn Valley radiology program. Be sure to note all of the program requirements.
  3. Apply for financial aid. The federal financial aid application (FAFSA) is also available online.

The Maple Woods | St. Joseph Site Radiologic Technology Program does not offer transfer credit of professional Radiologic Technology Courses from any institution.

Program Acceptance

Students will be contacted in early March for program acceptance. Students accepted into the program will work directly with the program coordinator to determine next steps. Students not accepted into the program should contact the Student Advising Department or the Health Science Institute to determine next steps.

Individuals with a record of a prior criminal offense are encouraged to confirm their eligibility status to sit for the national American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam via an ethics review pre-application. You are strongly encouraged to go through a pre-application review if you've faced:

  • Misdemeanor or felony charges or convictions
  • Military courts-martial
  • Disciplinary actions were taken by a state or federal regulatory authority or certification board
  • Serious honor code (academic) violations as described in our Rules of Ethics, such as patient abuse, violating patient confidentiality and cheating
