Don't Just Take Our Word For It.
"The choice to go back to school and change careers after 16 years was a tough decision for me.I decided to pursue the medical field with the intent to grow a meaningful career with a solid base and plenty of opportunity to grow.
However, I prefer to be behind the scenes and not so hands on, so I decided to research the available healthcare programs at MCC.
That’s when I discovered the Associate in Health Information Management degree. This program has given me the skills and confidence needed to make a very drastic career change. The friendships I have developed along the way have been priceless.
My instructors were incredibly supportive and really showed interest in helping me grow and reach my career goal.I completely switched careers from pastry chef to outpatient medical coder and I couldn't have done it without my instructors at MCC."
Angela, MCC Alumna
