ARAB 101E - Elementary Modern Arabic I - 5.00 credits

A practical beginning course in speaking and understanding modern Arabic. Proper pronunciation, words and structures used in daily conversation. Social conventions and Arabic culture necessary for interpersonal communication with native speakers of contemporary Arabic. (MOTR LANG 105)

ARAB 102E - Elementary Modern Arabic II - 5.00 credits

Prerequisite: ARAB 101D or ARAB 101E. A continuation of Elementary Modern Arabic I. Complete basic elements of Arabic grammar, increase vocabulary, gain added facility in speaking and reading Arabic. (MOTR LANG 106)

FREN 101 - Elementary French I - 5.00 credits

An introduction to French. Develop basic communication skills (listening, reading, writing, and speaking). Informal study of the culture of French-speaking countries. (MOTR LANG 101)
