The purpose of these certificates is to prepare students for employment or advanced training in the building maintenance and repair and construction industries. This program focuses on broad, transferable skills, stresses the understanding of all aspects of the building maintenance and repair and construction industries, and demonstrates such elements of the industry as residential and light commercial building maintenance and construction in the areas of carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing as well as other related topics.
