  • Biochemistry
  • Biophysics
  • Ecology
  • Agriculture and food science
  • Medical science
  • Teaching

MCC offers a wide-range of biology electives to choose from including: botany, zoology, nutrition, ecology and microbiology. Field biology students camp outside, identifying flora and fauna of different biomes. Environmental science examines population growth, resource allocation and pollution. Many classes include field work outside the classroom, letting you get your hands dirty with real-world experience.

Our biology program is built around the Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree. This degree gives you a solid background in general education courses that can transfer to a four-year institution.
