The Metropolitan Community College initiative will better guarantee access to college and workforce education options for all students in the Kansas City region
The roof of a building at MCC-Maple Woods, a Metropolitan Community College campus in Kansas City North, is the habitat of a pack of 13 "wolves" ... metal wolf silhouettes, anyway. And this season they're sporting holiday gear for the first time. (The college's mascot, sports teams, students and employees are all MCC Wolves too.)
Sponsorships are available for the Jan. 16 event at Kansas City's Union Station, where eight MCC students will be presented with one-year, tuition-paid scholarships
