Dr. Donald Chrusciel, Vice Chancellor, Administrative Services

Donald Chrusciel, Ph.D., joined Metropolitan Community College in June 2018 as vice chancellor of administrative services and chief financial officer. He came to MCC from Bakersfield College in California, where he served as vice president of finance and administrative services. Prior to that, he served in a similar role at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is not the only Midwestern flavor in Chrusciel's past. He previously led business services in positions at Iowa State University of Science and Technology in Ames and at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Chrusciel's well-rounded academic background includes a community college. He holds a doctorate in industrial education and technology from Iowa State University, a master's in management information systems and operations management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a master's in business administration from California State University. His undergraduate degrees include a bachelor's in biochemistry from Michigan State University in Lansing and an associate in science from Grand Rapids Community (Junior) College in Michigan.

He is the author of more than a dozen publications and multiple presentations covering areas going beyond providing high-quality support services issues to also include significant/strategic change, leadership issues, process improvement, operations management, materiel management, sustainability (economic, environmental and social), feedback methods, value metrics, benchmarking and the impact of technology on the organization.
