What are Intramurals?
The Metropolitan Community Colleges Athletic Department is working to provide an intramural program for you, the MCC student. We are making efforts to mold this program with individual and team sport activities that will provide each student of the Metropolitan Community Colleges an opportunity to be active, social and to have fun with other MCC students through recreational play. Our Intramural program is designed to encourage all students to participate in organized activities regardless of skill level. Activities may range from an Open Play format, a Single Game format, a Tournament format or a League. In an attempt to build bridges between each of the campuses and to bring every MCC student closer together, each of the intramural activities will be offered at the MCC-Blue River, MCC-Business & Technology, MCC-Longview, MCC-Maple Woods and MCC-Penn Valley campuses where All events are open to All MCC Students. Just because you attend class at one campus does not mean you can’t participate in an event on another campus. Ultimately, we are here for YOU!
Who is eligible to participate in Intramurals?
Anyone who is a current MCC student enrolled in classes in the Metropolitan Community Colleges at one of the Kansas City Metro locations is eligible to participate in Intramurals.
