In honor of Women's History Month, please join Metropolitan Community College Foundation this spring for the She Is: Women’s History Month Brunch.
Join us in March for a morning of inspiration and empowerment led by Dr. Nicole Price, a visionary speaker and author of Spark the Heart, Dr. Price’s captivating message will take us through a journey of self-discovery and leadership, showing how empathy and authenticity can transform lives and the world around us.
Through her signature mix of humor and insight, she will empower us to break barriers and build stronger, more inclusive communities together.
This year’s brunch will also feature a dynamic panel of bold and powerful women leaders from across the Kansas City region, sharing their stories of courage and impact.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Nicole Price

CEO, Lively Paradox - Empathy Revolutionary
Dr. Nicole Price is a leadership development expert. She specializes in transferring leadership principles to professionals. She has worked for over a decade as a chemical engineer and has led enterprise-wide teams within corporations. Her accomplishments as a leader sparked her transition to learning and development where she was responsible for creating, implementing, and consulting on inclusive, leadership development initiatives.
Dr. Price has an uncanny ability to motivate an audience from the stage and has been a global keynote speaker and trainer on a range of leadership topics. The leadership development company she founded, positively impacts workplace environments. She is passionate about empathetic, inclusive leadership and will share anywhere. From the backs of napkins on airplanes, in training rooms in rural manufacturing facilities, to conference centers in the heart of New York City, anyone who asks will receive practical insight about leadership if they want it.
Primary industry clients for her company, Lively Paradox, are K-12 school districts and school leaders in the United States. Her field of expertise leveraging empathy to create high performing, inclusive environments for employees from recruitment to retirement.
Dr. Price has chemical engineering degree from North Carolina A&T State University. She received her masters degree from Park University in adult education and her doctorate in leadership and management from Capella University. Her post doctoral studies in diversity, equity, and inclusion were completed at Stanford University.
