About All for the Children
Vision
All for the Children aims to improve the quality of life for those within our community through education and community engagement.
History
The annual All for the Children event was founded by MCC-Blue River instructor Kim Glackin with assistance from fellow instructors. MCC-Blue River also partners with various businesses in the area -- particularly Independence and Blue Springs -- along with the students of the Independence School District's Little Blue Elementary School.
Glackin's hope was to provide a forum for educating families about parenting and child development in a fun and engaging way that builds a support network for families in the area.
Volunteer Opportunities
All for the Children welcomes community volunteers. Please email br.presidentsoffice@mcckc.edu if you'd like to volunteer.
Safety
For the safety of our attendees, we ask that guests not bring pets, glass or alcohol to the event.
We also ask that all children be supervised by family members at all times during the event.
