MCC-Penn Valley Engineering Technology building - Opened Fall 2021
The new MCC-Penn Valley Engineering Technology building will open in Fall 2021. The Engineering Technology building will house state-of-the-art classrooms for Engineering Technology and Construction Management as well as MCC's FabLab maker space, a 3-D printing/prototype lab and the Burns & McDonnell Design Innovation Lab.
Ribbon-cutting ceremony update: This event will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1.

MCC-Blue River East building - Opening Spring 2022
The MCC-Blue River building construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2021, with classes starting Spring 2022. The new building will house MCC's commercial driver's license (CDL), utility lineman, forklift/warehousing programs and the Great Plains OSHA Education Center.

Advanced Technical Skills Institute - Opening Spring 2022
The Advanced Technical Skills Institute, located at 2944 Troost Avenue in Kansas City's midtown, will house building maintenance and construction, computer-integrated machining, HVAC, industrial technology and welding. Renovation of the building is expected to be completed in November 2021, with classes starting in Spring 2022.

MCC's Virtual Hospital is a 10,000 sq. ft., accredited, healthcare simulation center that provides an unmatched learning environment for healthcare providers and students. The Virtual Hospital is a realistic healthcare facility is home to six simulation rooms and hosts a variety of events and collaborates with businesses and organizations.
