The MCC Penn Valley Engineering Technology building is expected to be completed in July 2021, with classes starting Fall 2021. The Engineering Technology building will house state-of-the-art classrooms for Engineering Technology and Construction Management as well as MCC's FabLab maker space, a 3-D printing/prototype lab and the Burns & McDonnell Design Innovation Lab.

The MCC-Blue River building construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2021, with classes starting Spring 2022. The new building will house MCC's commercial driver's license (CDL), utility lineman, forklift/warehousing programs and the Great Plains OSHA Education Center.

The Advanced Technical Skills Institute, located at 2944 Troost Avenue in Kansas City's midtown, will house building maintenance and construction, computer-integrated machining, HVAC, industrial technology and welding. Renovation of the building is expected to be completed in November 2021, with classes starting in Spring 2022.
