Mission Code

Teaches children that computers do not think for themselves, but that they are programmed by humans. Not only computers, but all digital software, including games, apps, and websites, as well as hardware and other machines, such as microwaves, airplanes and traffic lights contain programs that are made by people. MISSION:CODE inspires children to understand that they can program these machines themselves. While engaged in MISSION:CODE, children will apply 21st century skills to solve problems like real programmers. This means that they are going to collaborate and communicate while identifying problems, testing solutions and debugging their programs.
