Majority of MCC Spring semester classes will be taught virtuallyAs we eagerly await the start of the spring semester on January 11, our number one priority is promoting the health and safety of our students and all members of the MCC community
Due to the rising number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in our region, the majority of our courses will be taught virtually this spring either by video conference or online.
Virtual learning means:
- The course will be taught live with students attending via video conferencing (such as Zoom).
- Classes meet live during the days and times listed in the course schedule.
- Students will need reliable internet access and supporting technology.
Courses that cannot be taught completely in a virtual environment will meet in-person following strict safety protocols including single points of entry with temperature check stations, social distancing, required face coverings, comprehensive contact tracing, and thorough cleaning and sanitizing of campus buildings.
MCC Online courses will be taught as planned; 100% online.
The codes used to identify each mode are:
- VC – Video Conferencing/Virtual Live
- P – In-person
- IN – Internet/Online Anytime
We are committed to supporting you throughout the semester by offering services remotely and in person when possible. View information about how to access student services (such as advising, counseling, tutoring, financial aid).
We are working to ensure the high-quality learning experience that MCC students are accustomed to, while also protecting the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and community.

Then, you will login to Blackboard by entering your student ID followed by @mcckc.edu. This looks like your student email address, but your login will end with @mcckc.edu, not @student.mcckc.edu.
