MCC Police Department

The MCC Police department provides services 24 hours a day, and is dedicated to developing and maintaining a safe and secure campus in cooperation with other college departments. The department maintains a close liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in implementing and coordinating campus law enforcement operations. Services provided by the police department include, but are not limited to:

• • Investigating and preventing crimes in its jurisdiction
  • Providing crime prevention programs
  • Enforcing traffic laws
  • Providing escorts
  • Jump starts
  • Maintaining crowd control for campus events

MCC Emergency Response Plan

MCC has established this Emergency Response Plan to provide MCC students, faculty, employees and visitors (the “MCC Community”) with information about MCC’s Timely Warning Alert, Emergency Notification, Emergency Response Plan (including evacuation procedures), and to provide other general safety guidelines to the MCC Community. The information in this plan will help each individual in the MCC Community determine their best response to certain emergency situations, whether on, adjacent to, or near a MCC campus. Every emergency situation is unique and in all cases, MCC Community members assume responsibility for their own individual safety and security and should use their own best individual judgment in deciding their actions.
