MCC Wolves Preparing for the Upcoming Season

It's game time for the 2018-19 MCC Wolves. The upcoming basketball season will be full of excitement with returning players and coaches, along with new players who are eager to show off their talents. Our goal this year is to not only keep the streak alive of finishing with a winning season, but also to make this a CHAMPIONSHIP season.  Coaches are working hard on plays to show off the special talents of our women's players and place them on the path to both completing their education, and fulfilling their dreams of playing basketball at the next level.

Returning players for this year's squad is a group of girls that make the game so exciting.   Sophomore guard Kaylee Vantrump, an outside shooter who can light it up from deep range.  Slotted at the point guard position is Octavia Lowery, who has a lot of razzle-dazzle in her game, and shows Division I potential.  Sophomore Kassidy Snowden is an explosive powerhouse who dominates the floor with speed and rebounds effectively despite her small frame.  In addition to these three veterans is an influx of players who bring energy and a new look to this year's team.

We look forward to seeing you at the games and supporting our women's program.

Go Wolves!
