After applying to MCC, make sure you complete these steps to enroll for classes:
- ACT needs to have sent your scores to MCC so we have them on file
- Take any placement testing necessary
- Attend a New Student Advising and Enrollment Session. An email invitation will automatically be sent to you to register for a session of your choice. During your session we will help you enroll in your classes through your Student Center at myMCCKC. (myMCCKC is your personal account where you will enroll in classes, pay fees, view records, grades, financial aid and instructor/MCC messages.)

Step 1: Apply to MCC
Applying to MCC and receive your student ID. It's free!
Step 2: Transcripts and Testing
Transcripts: Send official transcripts from any previous college for evaluation and placement. Ready to send your transcripts to MCC? Visit National Student Clearinghouse to request your e-transcripts to be sent to MCC.
Testing: Determine if testing is necessary by visiting our Testing Center.
Student Success Advising: Meet with an advisor on a walk-in basis during regular business hours to review your remaining requirements and course selections.

There are a variety of ways for students to earn college credit before graduating from high school.
You can enroll in dual credit (taught at the high school by high school instructors) courses, dual enrollment (taught at an MCC campus or online) courses, or participate in an Early College Academy (structured program with participating high schools, where students take several courses per semester at an MCC campus).
