Student Art Exhibit & Sale
April 7 - April 25
An array of vivid paintings, sculptures, fine drawings and other unique pieces of student-created artwork
will be on display inside the Carter Art Center Gallery, April 7-25.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Carter Art Center, the Student Art Exhibit & Sale is an annual event
that has been held since the gallery opened in 2003. The Friends of the Carter Art Center will award three
$300 scholarships for the best creations in the exhibit. In addition, they will offer a purchase award. The
sale will be open to the public, April 23-25. 25% of all sales will go towards student scholarships.
Every spring, MCC-Penn Valley students showcase their work with hopes that it will catch the eyes of avid art collectors.
