Ada Niedenthal
Ada M. Niedenthal
Surface Changes: Textiles
June 13th - July 19th 2008

Ada is a textile artist. She has had an association with fiber, fabric and art for as long as she can remember. She has had an equally long association with nature and the Kansas landscape, from growing up on a farm in Russell County to being a landscape artist for more than twenty years.

Ada's art is a response to the ideas, events, images and people that show up in life; what she sees, what she hears and what she reads. Her creations from the past eight years have been ruled by the Bush administration and her feelings about the results of that administration's actions or policies show up in her most recent work.

Join in the conversation during the reception on June 13th(2nd Friday) at 5:30 p.m.

Exhibit Hours:
