MCC Foundation: Raising and Receiving Funds
The MCC Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises, receives, and administers gift funds for the five colleges of the Metropolitan
Community Colleges district -- Blue River, Business & Technology, Longview, Maple Woods, and Penn Valley.
MCC Foundation donors have
helped change thousands of lives by giving to funds that provide scholarships for tuition and books to
students who attend one of the Metropolitan Community Colleges. View our Scholarships
booklet (PDF) detailing the requirements of each.
For many students, scholarship support offers the only opportunity to pursue their educational and career
goals; and, consequently, change their lives.

To show appreciation to donors for their generous support of student scholarships, the Metropolitan Community College Foundation (MCCF) Scholarship Committee hosts a Gratitude Gala. This annual event brings together donors and scholars for an evening of recognition and celebration.

"The scholarship encouraged my heart. I now know that I can beat the odds and make it. The kind of work I want to do has to be a
calling. You have to have a heart-driven desire to do it." -- Fantashia Freeman

Ways to Give
The MCC Foundation offers you several
ways to give. All gifts are administered in compliance with the donor's wishes and IRS regulations.
No administrative costs are taken from your gift. Gifts may be designated unrestricted, which allows
them to be used in the areas of greatest need, or you may specify a particular program or scholarship
fund that you want your gift to support.
Because the Foundation is a non-profit organization, most contributions are tax deductible as a charitable gift.
