The Learning Resource Center at MCC-Business & Technology assists students with strengthening basic skills. Free tutoring is available during the Summer 2013 semester in math. We also offer help with study skills and test-taking techniques. There are computers available in the Learning Resource Center for student use on projects such as term papers or research. Computer-assisted instruction is also available.
The Learning Resource Center is located in room 168A, inside the MCC-Business & Technology Library. No appointment is necessary, although you can call ahead and reserve a time if desired. Organizing a group of students for tutoring is also encouraged. Walk-in Tutoring is available during regular class sessions on the following days and times:

Math tutoring is regularly available for Math 20, 40, 103, 104, 110, 120, 130 and 150. Access to math textbooks, solution guides, and computer assisted tutorials are also available. Students may be tutored individually or in groups. Quiet independent study is also welcomed in the Learning Center, with assistance provided by the tutor as needed.
Students interested in improving their study skills including: note-taking, reading textbooks, time management, identifying learning style, and test taking strategies should also contact the learning center. Assistance can be provided through a one-on-one consultation, additional reference materials, and access to on-line tutorials and assessments.
