An Evening with Filmmaker Kevin Willmott

Feb. 4, 6 p.m. Free and open to the public. Donations to the Friends of the Cultural Arts Center Suggested.

Wilmott is a University of Kansas film professor, writer and director. His films, which often focus on black issues, include Ninth Street, C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America and Bunker Hill.

Music of the Caribbean

Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville Percussion Ensemble featuring steel drums.


MCC-Longview Presents:

The Vagina Monologues

Feb. 13, 7:30 p.m. $20 General Public, $15 MCC Employees, free to MCC students with valid student ID.

A benefit performance for Hope House of Greater Kansas City, a domestic violence shelter located in Lee’s Summit.

The Vagina Monologues deals with different aspects of the feminine experience, including sex, love and violence.
