HVAC and HVAC/R technicians install and maintain climate control systems. They work with mechanical, electrical and electronic components and the federal regulations that deal with heating and cooling equipment. They find work with contractors, utility companies, office buildings, plants and more.

In our program, you'll work with the same equipment you'll use on the job, and learn to:

  • Install and maintain the efficiency of climate control systems in residences and commercial settings.
  • Work with furnaces, air conditioners, refrigeration units, heat pumps and boilers.
  • Learn federal regulations regarding refrigeration equipment.
  • Troubleshoot problems.

Our job-ready certificate gets you ready for residential work in just 15 weeks. Our HVAC/R certificate includes commercial refrigeration, heat pumps and more. The A.A.S. degree includes courses for transfer to earn a bachelor's degree. Our programs help prepare you for EPA 608 certifications and North American Technician Excellence certification.
