About Us
Since 1988, The MCC-Business & Technology Campus (MCC-BTC), one of the Metropolitan Community Colleges (MCC), has been a leader in OSHA and EHS training and consulting. MCC recognizes that safety and environmental education and training are an integral part of industry. To that end, in 1992, the college became one of the four original Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training Institute Education Centers. In 1995, MCC-BTC became a centralized location for economic development, industrial technical education training and customized business training.ISO 14000
In 2000, MCC-BTC became ISO 9000 certified in accordance with standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization. ISO have become the standard for good business practices throughout the world. Companies that are registered to one or more of the standards increase their opportunities for business at home and abroad. Two of the standards most widely recognized and accepted are the ISO 9000 series for manufacturing and service quality and the ISO 14000 series for environmental quality.MCC-BTC has serveral ISO 14000 certified environmental auditors.
MCC-BTC Experience
Our experienced training staff has several national certifications, Bachelor and/or Masters Degrees in subject matter, and years of real life experience. Our training staff consistently receives outstanding evaluations.Our many course offerings are presented in state-of-the-art classrooms and a unique laboratory. Our laboratory provides hands-on experiences in such areas as confined space, fall protection, machine guarding, rigging, respiratory protection, personal protective equipment, etc. In addition, the laboratory includes a __x__x__ confined space entry/rescue simulator. All of which contribute to a beneficial and enjoyable training experience.
