Choose courses of interest or take the courses outlined as part of meeting requirements for a professional certificate. These courses are designed to meet industry-specific training needs. They are assigned Continuing Education units (CEUs) based on the amount of time the course requires and are usually offered over a 16-week period (semester).Patent & Prototype Workshop
Got a great idea but not sure where to start? We can show you how to take an idea through the patent process and develop a 3-dimensional prototype for testing. This workshop is designed to provide background knowledge, concepts and the basic skills you will need as an aspiring inventor. Learn theory and practical application that will help you bring your idea to life. You will receive instruction and assistance with filing the proper paperwork for patent application and training in the latest Computer Aided Drafting & Design software. Classes begin June 2009; you can enroll in the Patent & Prototype Workshop now.
