Training

Choose courses of interest or take the courses outlined as part of meeting requirements for a professional certificate. These courses are designed to meet industry-specific training needs. They are assigned Continuing Education units (CEUs) based on the amount of time the course requires and are usually offered over a 16-week period (semester).

Customized Contracts

One of the premier places in the nation to get training is the MCC-BTC. MCC-BTC can provide highly-qualified trainers and exeptional facilities and equipment for training. We realize here at MCC-BTC that not all businesses can afford to lose employees from work to attend training. MCC-BTC can create a contract to deliver training and courses specified by a company. These courses can be delivered when and where the company prefers. Contracts are calculated based on the number of training hours requested and are based on specific business needs.

FREE Making It In KC 16-week Job-Ready Training Program

Funds for Training

Some training costs may be covered through the state's New Jobs, Jobs Retraining, or Customized Training Programs. The Missouri Commumity College Job Retraining Program targets existing Missouri employers to provide funds to retrain their existing Missouri workers. The program significantly enhances state resources to give Missouri workers the skills they need and employers a better edge to compete.
