Document Control Module
The Document Control module enables all users to enter a request for a revision to a controlled document within the system. The record tracks the individual requesting the revision, a description and reason for the revision as well as identifying other controlled documents that may be affected by the revision.
Each time a new document request is created, the Document Control Administrator receives an automatic email and a notification record for the new document. The Document Control Administrator reviews each new request, adds a date by which approval is required, assigns document approvers and tracks the status of approvals. Document Control Administrators also have the capability of overriding any approvals or rejections created by assigned approvers.
There are three levels of security within this module:
Request Doc. Change - Enables users to create new document change requests and attach any appropriate documents.

Approve Doc. Change - Enables users to create new document change requests and attach any appropriate documents. In addition, this page is used by individuals who have been identified as an approver for a specific document. The approver can access this page, review the attached document and subsequently approve or reject the document.

Approve Doc. Change (Admin) - This page is used by individuals who have been identified as the Document Control Administrator for your system. It enables users to create new document change requests, attach any appropriate documents, define required dates and individuals who will approve a document, send notifications, approve or reject documents, and, if necessary, override any rejections or unobtained approvals.

Reports
There are four standardized reports available in the Document Control module. These reports can be accessed from the Reports link on the Document Control menu. One of the reports, Document Change Match Criteria Report , displays a popup dialog box which enables the user to enter any combination of criteria. When submitted, a group of document control records that match the criteria, are displayed.
